Looking for dogs and puppies for sale in Boston? Why not adopt?
Boston Dog Rescue places dogs primarily in the Boston/Greater Boston area, however, if we can arrange for a homevisit, we will consider adopting a dog to an applicant in CT, RI, NH, ME and VT. All of our dogs are privately fostered throughout the Boston area.
Q. Do you require a fenced yard to adopt a dog from the Animal Rescue League of Boston?A. No, a fenced yard is not a requirement to adopt a dog from us. There are plenty of well cared for dogs that live in apartment-type homes or single family homes who are leashed-walked daily and live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. We expect that adopters will take into consideration the leash laws and other laws of their city or town.
We are a small rescue, which means we are always in need of help! We need people that can foster and love our Boston's while we get them ready to adopt. People that can do this and then let them go. This puts those dogs in homes that are suited to that dog individually. Letting them go allows us to save other Boston's in need. We need donations and volunteers to keep our important work going forward. Donations of any size and frequency allow us to care for our fosters. If you can make a one time donation or a monthly donation you will be helping us save lives. Our adoption fees rarely cover what it cost to rehabilitate our fosters. We do not turn away any Boston in need unless we have no where to put them. Old dogs, special needs dogs and dogs with behavior issues are welcomed as often as possible. Together we can do more.
